In 1994 Carla Love received a word from God to “Set My people free from the strongholds of their minds!” Strongholds are mental roadblocks to the blessings of God. Fixed mindsets that oppose God. In the old testament Pharaoh (a type of Satan) held God’s people in bondage in Egypt (a type of the world system). God instructed Moses to tell Pharaoh to “Let My people go!” Moses took his rod (God’s Word) and led God’s people out of bondage. Today we see the same condition with God’s people. Satan is holding them in bondage through mental strongholds and God has provided His word to set them free.

“2 Cor. 10:4 Amp. “For the weapons of our warfare are not physical (weapons of flesh and blood) but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds.”

As the mind becomes renewed with God’s word (Rom. 12:2) mental strongholds begin to crumble.

Jer. 23:29 Amp. “Is not My Word like fire (that consumes all that cannot endure the test)? says the Lord and like a hammer that breaks in pieces the rock (of most stubborn resistance)?

By hearing God’s Word over and over, hit after hit on the stronghold, like an ice pick on an ice berg, down comes the stronghold. Making the individual free to Reign. Rom. 5:17.|

“Romans 5:17 “For if because of one man’s trespass (lapse, offense) death reigned through that one, much more surely will those who receive (God’s) overflowing grace (unmerited favor) and the free gift of righteousness (putting them into right standing with Himself) reign as kings in life through the one Man Jesus Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
